Why do people want to get back with their ex's?

Dont you think its weird how peole want to get back wit there ex's?I mean they break up and you try to get them back.why would you want them back if they dont like you any more and you know it?I mean they just dissed you and you start to break down and want them back.its okay 2 cry though!

a lot of people have this problem
people dont always get over somebody
and if they do it could take a very long time
a lot of people are still in love with there ex, and dont want to let them go
it also depends on who did the dumping.
but its just a normal part of life
a lot of people want someone back, because there still in love
even if the other person treated them like crap.
there blinded by love, and really dont care

well it might seem weird but its hard to understand and comprehend that they dont want you anymore its like a sate of shock and confusion. and you start to think what happened did I do something wrong. and then you get caught up thinking that and you cant stop. and you want them back becuase in your mind you truly loved them despite that they don't love you or despite that they did something to you that hurt you. I had a friend that was in love with this guy but he cheated on her and had sex with this girl and he always put my friend down I wanted to punch his f*cking teeth out becuase he was lucky to have someone like her. but even tho he did these thing to her she just ignored it she didn't want to believe what was happing even tho she knew it was true. she was just confused and not wanting to come to sense with reality. she just wanted the old guy she new and thought he was going to go back to the way he was. well what I guess im trying to say is even when they dissed you and don't want you some people want them back becuase they don't want to believe what the person said to them was true they want them back becuase they think or at least they want to believe that they still want them back and they still love them it a very weird situation and is complicated but your mind believes w.e. you want it to and its manipulating. I have no idea if this made the slightest bit of sense but I hope helped answer your question little.

that's not always the case. some people want to get back because they're both sincere and sorry about what happened and sometimes the breakup didn't end well and there are still misunderstandings and unsolved problems. not ready to let go yet, that's all.

I thinkk people back out because they are scared and then release, once they've had a break that thay were only hurting themselves by backing away from the situation when they still had feelsing for the person.
