How old does my yorkie need to be so i can send her to a breeder

I need to now how old my female yorkie needs to be so I can send her to the breeder that she came from so she can breed her or should I breed her myself with another dog

At least, not until the third heat...or that's how long a good breeder waits...if you don't know anything about genetics, and what it takes to breed a GOOD representative of the breed you have...then best to leave it to those who do.

Spay your dog. She's your precious pet,not a puppy machine. Leave breeding to the experts who do important things like genetic testing,planned breedings and actually work to improve the breed. Ask yourself this,what is my purpose in breeding my dog? Am I prepared to handle the situation if the birth goes wrong? Do you realize the risk involved? How many little dogs die trying to give birth? Please just give what you're doing a lot of thought... Shelz

I would breed her yourself because if you send her backto the breeder you are going ot run into problems with incest. (mating of related dogs), which can cause all sorts of defects in your puppies. and she should be about 2 years of age because that is when she will be done growing and she will not be sickened by pregnacy.
