no well you can babysitt by yourself when your thirteen so I guess you can stay in the house for a couple of days by yourself when your thirteen ...it depends if your parents would allow it
so really its up to your parents

I'd say when you're responsible and mature enough to handle yourself
for boys I'd say around 15 or so
for girls maybe 16 17, because you never know who will come and try to do something to you, I don't know man

At the least 15 years old. Any younger and your parents could get into trouble. Especially if they left you alone for a couple of days. OMG, what kind of parent would do that?

I guess it depends on how mature you are and your age , and you could also ask yourself how much does your parents really trust you if they can't let you stay home alone

It doesn't have to do with how much they trust you, it depends on laws. I am a teacher, and I know that CPS can get involved in these things.

Dear cutieπ,
Yes there are laws in every state and here in Canada. Maturity only comes into play after the legal age to be left alone. Eg. a child 10 can only be left for an hour alone and not at night...that would be the legal age but a parent may feel that they are not ready and maybe they have a 9 year old they feel is ready but they cannot allow it because of the laws. Check out your state for their laws...follow them closely because the courts frown on children being left a lone before the legal age and rightly so.
Sue...good luck

now you can tell, do you find difficulty staying alone?
unless someone needs follow up but I guess 10 years will do, maybe 9. but not for a couple of days...emmm...16 is fine, actually you're super...keep it up
