Be sure to bring plenty of money because Japan is as expensive as people say. The $6 coffees are no joke.

In terms of airfare, it also depends largely on the airline, time of year, and airport you fly into. Many times, large airports (ie. Tokyo) are more expensive. A quick search on Travelocity quotes me around $1000/ticket (for coach seats). First class seats are around $6-9,000.

Yeah, it will make you have an open mind you will learn about their culture,traditions, tribes ( I think lol ) . Anyways, I heard they get earthquakes sometimes...always be prepared so pack an emergency kit incase it happens..don't let it surprise you..hopefully, it won't happen. Learn a little more to the point you can make a basic conversation. It depends what airlines you use or whatever... So shop around until you find the best deals .
