Hi,
From what I read, it takes two hours for Diflucan to be absorbed. Diflucan, like vaginal creams and topical medication, only works against vaginal yeast infections due to Candida and will not work against other forms of vaginal infections that could mimic the symptoms of a yeast infection.
If you are still feeling symptoms in another 48 hours, I'd call the doctor.
Answer this Question: "How long does it take for Diflucan to work?"
