How long does it take prednisone shot to work on poison ivy rash?

I got the shot two days ago and still have yet to see results. How long does it take? I mean I got the shot and im on prednisone pill medication also for six days. I am entering my third day. Will I see results soon?

Prednisone is a pretty potent corti steroid very effective for rashes like ivy eczema. By the time you read this reply im pretty sure you should've began to feel better.

I contacted poison ivy on a Sunday and started itching later that night. The itching lasted until Wednesday evening. The itching was stopped by my doctor with a shot of prednisone. I started to feel some relief within two hours of receiving the injection of prednisone.
