How long can I leave my eyebrow ring out?

Ok I got my eyebrow pierced back in august and I was wondering if I took it out how long would it take to close up? cause my friend has snakebites and she can take them out for like 24 hrs and they dont close up. and also how long could I take my nose ring out for without it closing up?

it’s different for each person, I’ve had my lip pierced for YEARS and I took it out and it closed within half an hour. If you can I’d just avoid taking it out unless absolutely needed.

Depends on a few things.

1.How long you have had it. 2.How quickly your body heals 3.The gauge size will make a difference also.

If you had it done in Aug, then it will MOST likely close in less then 24 hours Your body has not had the time to build the proper cartilage around the piercing. I would not recommend taking it out for anymore then 4 hours~ Do what you must but if it isn’t a requirement and you want to keep it. I wouldn’t take it out for at least 1year~1 1/2 years of having it. At that point it will be safe to leave out.

I’ve had my lip pierced for over 2 years and it still closes up after leaving the jewellery out for a month. I think it’s roughly the same for an eyebrow piercing. I’d say it would close after a week. And it depends with the nose piercing. Mine closed up within a few hours and I had had it done for about a month.
