What you have suggested actually does not sound bad at all.
Don't forget that you can also get protein from some vegetables as well.
Tofu may be a nice thing to add.
I would also seriously consider taking a good vitamin and mineral supplement daily, and add exercise as well.
Just a word of caution, however... what you are suggesting seems to be pretty high in fibre. There is such a thing as a too high in fibre condition that is not good for you... you may want to check that out first. High fiber can also give you gas and gas pains as well if there is too much in your diet.
You can also add other vegan items for variety such as veggie burgers, etc. Most grocery stores sell a lot of those kinds of items depending upon where you shop and where you live.
Have a good understanding of your ideally accepted weight and good luck !
:-)
no, not really
while they are healthy foods, you cant just eat the same thing all the time,
for every meal
there are many more proteins and things that you your body needs
hopefully your not just going vegetarian to loose weight either
vegetarianism is a life choice, not a weight loss diet
there are many other foods that you can incorperate into your meals that suit your vegetarian lifestyle
things like pasta, lentils, ect are good
and theres thousands of recipies you can make from pasta
what you want to eat isnt enough, you need a certain amount of calories in a day
at least 1000 to survive and so your body doesnt go in starvation mood
the things yoiur eating are a lot lowere than that amount of calories
so you need to eat more
not giving your body the food it needs will most likly cause you to put on more weight
because youll be hungry verey often and youll be more prone to binging

How healthy is this??
If I eat only 1/2 cup of oatmeal per meal, along with nuts for protein and fruit and vegetables, is this healthy? I know I'm eating very low calories, but I know I'm still getting protein and fruits and veggies. I'm a vegetarian so I can't eat meat....
=)
So is this good for you? I thought that since oatmeal was so filling it might help me to lose weight.
