How do I take care of gerber daisies that I planted in the ground?

Gerber Daisies like to be kept in MOIST soil (not wet), so be sure the area is well-drained when you water it (keep blooms dry) EACH MORNING. Feed moderately every 2 weeks. They need sun, but can stop blooming when outside temperature is too hot. (Problem solved by providing shade--I use a piece of cardboard or a chair to block the sunrays ... If it's in a pot, just move it to a cooler spot.) Be sure to cut off the flower (and stem) when it begins to fade. A healthy plant will bloom until frost.
