How do I get rid of scars?

I used to cut myself and now I have hundreds of ugly scars on my arms and legs. Is there any way to get rid of them?

Hi,

Mederma is a cream that you can buy from any drugstore and is supposed to work very well on scars.

Just like the person above me said, Merderma works good. I've used it before. Its just a gel that you put on the scars a few times a day.
