How do i get my cacti to grow healthily?

my cacti are sitting in the ledge of my window with water and sand, yet they seem to be growing awfully slow, isd this natural?

Cacti usually grow very slowly. Just make sure they don't start to turn brown, and keep giving them plenty of sunshine to make sure that they stay healthy.

yeah dont water to much or they will die becase cacti get under 10 inches of water a year
