Beans are growing too high

my beans! Asked by jjes28 4 months ago, 2 answers.

I have some runner beans growing and the plant is flowering now . They are very tall and I cant let them go any higher, is it ok to nip off the ends ? Will it encourage them to grow out further down ?

Yes, any time you cut, you are really just diverting the growth. They'll get bushier.

They may not grow further down, but if too tall, go ahead and nip the ends.
