How do I convince my parents for a tattoo and belly ring?

Well as you see I want to convince my parents to let me get a tattoo on my back and get a bely ring?

well if you were born in 1988 then it shouldnt be a problem
you can legally go into a tattooist and get the tatt as well as the peircing
if your not though it depends on your age really

im 14 and already have a belly peircing and can get a tattoo when I am 16 as long as they approve of it and its not to obvious. they say the back is fine and as long as the tattoo doesn't say 'I LOVE ...' etc then they'll approve

I pierced my belly button when I was 15.It was a retarded phase I was going through.I thought it would look cute.But all it did was hurt and my shirt kept stickin to it then I'd have to rip it off and that hurt plus I never wore belly shirts so only I knew I had it.If you get it done go to a really good professional who's done it a lot of times.Mine messed up 2 times so be careful.I personally wouldn't advise you to do it though...
