How do I show my parents I can be responsible with money?

Im almost 17 and I dont have a car yet and I really really want one. I have offered to get another job and pay for it myself and my parents still wont get me a loan. how do I show them I can be responsible with it?

almost 17 and want a loan, sorry but I'd say no too. When I was 16 I worked to get a little beater truck for 500 bucks, ran great, didn't look the best but I didn't care. It will get you fom point a to point b. Even the last car I bought off a friend for 500 bucks, I've had it over a year now. Just save up some cash and buy a beater, its better than nothin.
