How did you know what career you wanted to go into?

I’m having a lot of trouble deciding what I want to do for a career. I have straight A’s, so there’s not really anything I’m particularly better at. I love animals, but vet is out of the question because I can’t handle being responsible for someone’s health, even if it is an animal… And I need to figure out what I’m doing for college, too. So I just wanted to know: how did others get into their jobs?

I want to be a doctor and the reason why is when I was a kid my parents used to tell me study hard to be a doctor and that made me decide what I want to be ,

At the end of each day you have to do what you’re passionate about… I did what my family pressed me to do and now I’m back in school working on a second degree and I don’t even know what I want to do… Currently I work for a utility company as a designer, I make great money… I actually make as much as how old I am, and I’m 23… So I’m doing well with what my family wanted for me, but now I find myself at the end of each day wanting more, and if you have a job you love, you won’t find yourself wanting more, you’ll be content.. So find something that you love, and put 110% effort to reach whatever goals you decide to set..
