How can I get a job with a felony charge?

I have a felony chrage and Iam having a really bad time trying to find a job. I was hanging out with the wrong crowd and got blamed for something I didn't do. How can I get a job with my charge in my city?

I was in the same position as you, and it can be frustrating. Don't expect anything huge to come at first, you will need to work lower level jobs at first. If and when you do get an interview, be honest! Tell them that you know you messed up, and are just trying to move on with your life! good luck!

stop telling them you have a felony, Just so you might get hired and then they will see you are good worker or you might get fired for lying on your application but at least you got a check to come home with. Do a good job the company might let you stay on ! Or you start you on business cleaning something in the city or the town like house windows or cut some grass go to a pawn shop a buy a lawnmower. just something until something comes along better for you. hell you got to eat but trust me do go and steal anything you will get caught. good luck and pray. If your felony is a "wobbler", meaning that it could have been tried as a misdemeanor, then you can probably get it reduced to and then expunged. Unless you are applying for a state job or state license, you can say that you have never been convicted of a felony.
