Answer #1

Soda actually doesn’t help when you are constipated. It worsens it. You need to eat foods high in fibre.

Answer #2

Two days does not make you ‘constipated’ enough to warrant an enema. They should be used as a last resort anyways- because like ifeelcrazy123 said, they can eventually make your bowels sluggish and you can become dependent on them.

Drink a bunch of warm water throughout the day. Try going for a walk, some sit-ups (not too many), and eat a ton of fiber.

Answer #3

If you have anything high in fiber. Eat that. You should have some type of bowel movement within a couple of hours. Hydration is also important. Drink water just as ‘ifeelcrazy123’ advised.

Answer #4

raisins or prune juice at your home? Cooked veggies also helps getting a bowel movements sometimes (those with the carrots, peas and corn in them)

Try drinking water as well.

Answer #5

If this is not too unpleasant, why not have an enema.

Home made enemas can be dangerous, also enemas can make your stomach lazy, which means that you might end up with chronic constipation.

Answer #6

Smoke…believe it or not, or go out and party. If I do either of these I have to go immediattely even if I just think acout them!

Answer #7

Great advice 555blondy. Anyway, I know drinking soda helps if your constipated, so maybe that’ll help? Not caffine free though.

Answer #8

poop!

Answer #9

If this is not too unpleasant, why not have an enema.

Answer #10

The best thing you can do to help constipation and produce a bowel movement is to eat a lot of fiber. Some foods that are high in fiber include:

  • dry cereal such as Fiber One or Cheerios
  • fruits
  • raisins
  • oatmeal
  • beans
  • almonds
  • leafy vegetables

It is also recommended that you drink plenty of water as well as prune juice. Both drinks would help speed things along so that you can have a bowel movement.

Some other at-home remedies you can try would be:

  • Flax seed oil
  • castor oil
  • karo syrup

All of these remedies can be purchased from the drug store or the grocery store.
