How are california apartment rates?

Hi there, im currently living in New Jersey and IM a highschool Junior, I want to go to college here for two years because my dad has been stressing that since I was about 5.
I want to know if I choose to go to Cali for the rest of my schooling, will it be cheaper for me to live on campus or get an apartment...how are the rates over there?

Depending on the rates and on the tuition for housing you have to decide which is better for you budget.

it depends where in CA. im in LA but the last 90 days I was in central CA and it is much cheaper to rent than in LA or San Jose, CA. We're talking 50% cheaper.
