You need to start by not eating big meals. Snack on things throughout the day. When you dont' eat for a long time, your body and stomach get's used to it - so if you try and eat a big meal - it will make you sick.
Snack on things throughout the day, make sure your getting good calories, proteins, carbs, veggies, fruits, etc. You have to build your appetite back up over time.
In the meantime - you need to get over your ex. Surrond yourself with friends, burn things you own that remind you of him (you would be suprised how much better that always made me feel), get out of the house and stay busy. Time heals all wounds.
okay im going to tell you something my mother tells me when im down when my sons father says its over and I get the same way she says...ALL SICKNESS ISNT DEATH...which means its just a bump in the road you just have to cross it hunny you have to eat something even if its just crakers and soup start by eating small portions 1st...and I totally agree with what mandyloo says go out with your girl friends have fun...u are a really cute girl so im sure it wouldnt be hard for you to find anouther guy...goodluck hunny..
hey im in a crush with a girl that has feelings for her Ex still, so I can compare, I have no appetite either, just know what you must eat, eats a salad twice even 3 times a day if you can, force urself to get the minimum requirement. vegetables will give you all you need fibers calories vitamins and alkaline most of all. to deal with the stress you are going through. if possible take some wheat grass shots or get some green drinks, that will make up fiber and vitamins and fight the excess acids caused by stress. it will take away headaches and aches and pains. wheat grass are just shots equal to a bowl of salad you wont feel you ate but it will be enough for your body needs.
you do not NEED meals, just take the bare minimum meanwhile till your appetite comes back. surround yourself with friends and try not to eat alone.

Dude eating is extremely important. Eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and snack with two to three hours in between. You need to eat to keep yourself pretty and healthy for the next tall, dark, and handsome guy you're going to fall for. If love is your pain, only time will heal it. But do yourself a favor and keep yourself healthy and back on the right track. You'll thank yourself in the future. =p

How am i ever going to convince myself to eat more?
I went through a break up almost a week ago and since then I haven't really been eating much, but haven't been getting hungry either.
I'm not starving myself- I eat when food is put in front of me, which has only been three times since then, but I've...
felt sick after every time.
When I even imagine eating something, it begins to feel like I can't swallow at all.
I don't have any kind of eating disorder, never have...
But it seems as though I completely lost my appetite since the break up.
If I'm not eating much, but not getting hungry, feel sick when I DO eat, and can't swallow when I even THINK about eating...
