Using a stair climinbing machine is helpful, as is a bycycle, the stepping one is probably better because it's closer to walking.
Other than that you can use any machine that works the lower body, and make sure you do tons of sit ups and leg lifts, as well as some stomach exercise that focuses on the obliques, as there are three main sections to target to tighten your stomach enough to get that 'six pack' effect. Good luck.
