Herpes transmit

Asked by ryn7yen2 about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

I had cold sore few years ago haven't outbreak since. I date a recently and I'm afraid if I kiss I will transmit herpes to her. Actually I kissed her couple times on her lips and vagina. but she seem find, she doesn't have cold sore or anything. Is there a chance of her not getting herpes from me because I don't have cold sore or outbreaks?

There's 2 different kinds of herpes, there's the STD herpes that people comonlly assiciate with herpes and there's herpes of the mouth. generally they are NOT the same thing, but they can be. The best bet is to go to your doctor and ask to have a herpes test,m and explain your situation.

Cold sores are common, they occur to people having no type of herpes virus and ca come form a fever, antibotics, herpes, the flu and various other reasons. However the best bet is always a safe one. get tested to be sure. Vaginal herpes can be spread to the mouth through intimate contact, and I BEIEVE (though off hand I can't find the information to either support or refute this) that herpes of the mouth can't be spread to the genitals.
