I've had my tragus pierced for about 4 months now. and I had a keloid (lump) by it and I just used sea salt and saline solution and it went away. but I wouldnt recommend changing it quite yet. give it a little more time just in case.

I have found that the captive bead ring is actually easier to take care of in a tragus. You said you had an infection and a little bump along with it. I talke dto my cousin who owns a tattoo and piercing shop and he recommends waiting another couple of weeks before you change it. Keep a bottle of Bactine handy and keep it clean until then.

I wouldnt quite take it out yet. I got mine done 5 months ago and I just took it out last night. I never had a lump on it and it never got infected but I would say to use sea salt and saline cleaner until it goes away, then you could probably change it.
