Best way to do it would be on a stove top with a covered pot, it'll take longer, but if you microwave it you'll end up drying out the rice it may be a bit on the crunchy side.

Either on the stove or in the oven. If you have to microwave it , put a damp paper towel on top of it while you microwave it, that will keep it moist and from becoming hard.

When microwaving rice, put in a couple of teaspoons of water on the rice so that it will stay soft and moist after.
