Why do we eat chicken breasts?

Okay question.
You know how they call it a chick breast..
Well then why do we eat chicken boobs?

lol um because they aint like human boobs and there good I don't know lol

chickens dont have boobs,
and you cant tell the difference if your eating a male or a female breast.
they taste and look exactly the same

Breast is basically the chest of the chicken.
Don't act like an idiot, because you KNOW chickens don't have actual breasts..

However, in Victorian times it was considered too risqué to ask for chicken thighs or breasts. That is when they started to refer to the breast/wing portion of the chicken as white meat and the thiegh/leg portion as dark meat. That way they could offer guests white meat or dark meat without having to say any naughty words.

Remember those repressed Victorians put skirts on grand pianos and covered crotches on trees since piano legs and tree crotches offended their sensibilities.
