Help! i'm worried for my hamster..i made a huge mistake

Skullz Asked by skullzlover18 3 months ago, 5 answers.

Help! I was cleaning my hamsters resterant attachment {you know with the tube and the play area} and I put the screw for the top on the side of the sink. After I finished cleaning I realized it was gone. I looked everywhere! I think it went down the...

drain. My hamster{skullz} Really loved going up into that resterant and now it is confused and has put one of thoses chewing sticks right into his mouth for storage..but what he doesn't realize is his resterant may never come back. I'm afaid he will choke to death on the stick. What should I do. I'm desperate

I don't see why you couldn't just place him in the play area yourself and wait for him to spit the stick out, if that's normally where he does it.

You have nothing to worry about though.
Your hamster won't choke. They can store a lot of things in their pouches- the video shows that! He'll spit it out after he realizes the attachment isn't going to be put back on any time soon.

If you're still worried about it, you can run to the pet store real fast and get a new one. :]

thanks but what I'm worried about the most is him walking around with the stick in his mouth..should I be worried or is it normal for him to store it...you see when he had the resterant he could store it up there
