Help: hair problems: advice please

So I want to convince my mom to totally let me get my hair done the way I want... She likes that I want to get it really really choppy in layers but she dosent like that fact that I either want a pink peek-a-boo (where its pink underneath and blonde on...

top) or pink highlights everyone should know what highlights or low lights whatever you want to call it please help me decide how I want to convince her this is like the most important thing in the world to me... I would do almost anything for this haircut!

Tell her that that is what you feel that express yourself... you like it... and its not that bad compared to other things children do... Ask her to let you try it out for a couple of weeks then maybe you guys can negotiate to change it back ... tell her that its just hair... your style and will make you feel good about yourself!

Tell her it's how you want your hair. It's not just a haircut and dye to you; it's how you want to show who you are. Make her understand this is who you are. If she thinks you are making a bad decision, explain to her that it's your life, and you can't learn by being so closely guarded. You are gowning up and you two aren't going to agree on everything that you want, and what she wants for you. Tell her that she should respect your decisions and the way that you are. She doesn't have to like it but she should accept it.
