yes, firstly - get a doctor!

and actually, the doctor may put you on birth control...the pill acts as a way to force your body to ovulate and thus regulating your periods...

have you got polycystic ovary syndrome? you know, you periods are painful, sex is unconfortable etc? in some cases, weight gain?

it's hard to speculate, but no, having an annual periods is not normal, and certainly indicates that there may be a hormonal problem...but this can only be verified and your problem diagnosed with blood tests and if necassary, more investigation. it's normally invasive..

but you need to get a doc...pleeease!

Its normal actually
Some girls only have periods once a year.
For any age
For awhile I only had it like every other year and the doctor told me it was very normal and it happens to a lot of girls
you have to worry more if you get a lot of periods

I'm so glad the last person knew what they were talking about. Listen to dioneff. But you can always go to the doctor just to make sure this is the case.
