Why do I have this headache that nothing helps?

That sounds like cluster migraines. Go to a doctor for prescription medication

You could be experiencing Migraines. I've been getting Migraines for about 35 years, and debilitating ones. OTC medications don't work for headaches that severe. You need to make an appointment with a Neurologist. Since there are so many types of headaches, he would be able to tell you what type of headache it is and will prescribe medications, to not only help with the pain, but prevent you from getting them as often.
