Having a dream and know that you are in a dream and it's not real

Has anyone ever had a dream and while you are having your dream you know it's a dream?

Like sometimes when I'm having a very good dream after a while while I'm in my very good dream I be like man this dream is not even real while I'm still in the...

dream?

Or like every time I have a bad dream and when somone is chasing me and trying to kill me while I'm running lol I realize that this isn't real and I know that if I let them catch me I wake up and I do wake up when they get me but when I have to do that I'm like but I'm scared I don't want to let them get me but I just do it to wake up from the bad dream?

Has this happened to anyone?
