Halloween constume ideas?

Ok well I am looking for ideas for Halloween. I am really small. 5 foot. and I have redish hair (strawberry blond) and its really long and extremely thick. I was thinking maybe going to the thrift store and buying a bunch of green and going as an elf:P...

but I don't know if I could find enough elf looking things. Or buying a white gown and going as the grudge, but I don't have black hair. Any Ideas? I do have a long black, velvet gown that is long sleeved and goes to my ankles and has fake buttons down the front.

ANY IDEAS? Perferable somthing that easy, cheap, and unique... I love being different and shocking:D... THANKS!

the elf is a good idea. like a long green shirt a thick brown belt and green tights( or leggins).
but 2 different shades of green.

One of my favorite things about Halloween is that it's okay to have a sexy little outfit for a costume. So a little black dress, some heels cat ears would be cute and cheap. Or a hott elf with a green skirt and shirt(:
