Most guitars have 6, most common but a lot of bass guitars have only 4.
A guitar is a six stringed instrument. A citar, for example, has five strings. The modern guitar originated in Spain, from what I read here in another question or answer. As far as I know, a guitar has to have six strings to be considered a guitar - so the second part of the answer for your question would be 100% of them.
yeah most guitars have 6 stirings, double necks have 12 or 14, there are 7 string and 5 string, and a couple others I can't think of right now...
NO! Some have 7 or 8. Yes...and not just basses! I love to play!
It depends if you're talking about electric guitars and acoustic? Because you can get 4 string bass guitars etc..
I dont know the percentage but a lot of guitars are 12 string and 7,8,5 strings and there are other ones to
no way the dude. a lot of guitars have 12, 7,8, or 14 strings
not always there are some with 10 and 12..they are harder to play but probably 80 percent are 6 stringers
six stringers are awesome but I dig the tone of 12 stringers.
There are 6 string 7 string and 12 string guitars
Bass their are 4 string 5 string and 6 string
Gutiars:
6 String
7 String
8 String
12 String
Bass:
4 String
5 String
6 String
8 String
and then theres some intrument that has like 12 strings. I think its a called a Chapman's Stick or something like that. you play it by tapping everything, more like a piano than a guitar
