How can I minimize the orange in my bleached hair?

Me Asked by emharger 7 months ago, 4 answers.

I have been thinking of coloring my hair blonde. It has been blonde twice before in the past. I made a spur of the moment decision to go a head and bleach it...and now its bright orange! I realize that dramatically lightening dark hair can be a very gradual process, but what can I do to minimize the orange without having to dye it brown again?

Shimmer lights shampoo, or any toner that has VIOLET base color in it. you can but this shampoo at a professional beauty store, when you put it in let the shampoo sit in your hair for several minuets. if your ends are porous focous on putting the shampoo more on the upper part of the hair shaft.

Toner. It's like conditioner but it's bright purple. I used to have platinum blonde hair, think Gwen Stefani, and every fornight or so I'd masque it in Schwarzkopf Blonde Toner mixed with conditioner and it worked a treat.
