Do girls want to be skinny just to be proud?

Hi.Do you think that girls who want to be skinny because they want to impress other girls but not guy?So why do girls want to be skinny?Hahas.Im considering to stop diet.

IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON
I WEIGH 111 and IM 5'0 MAYBE 5'1
BUT IDC..I AM SKINNY BUT FIT
I LK TO B SKINNY FOR ME TO B HAPPY BOUT MY SELF
BUT I REMEMBER when I 1ST WEIGHED 125 LAST school YR
and I LOST WEIGHT VERY DRAMATICLY BECAUSE
people SAID I WAS FAT BUT OTHER people SAID I WAS HEALTHY
NOW I LOOK BK and I WAS HEALTHY I MEAN I WAS ACTIVE and ALL I just WANTED
ALL THE COMMENTS TO STOP and NOW THEY SAY
IM SKINNY and SOME people SAY IM just RIGHT BUT NOW I GET REMARKS LK
I HAVE LIL BOOBS because OF IT BUT C when I LOST WEIGHT I WAS IN TRACK and LIFTED WEIGHTS and I WAS IN SHAPE THE WHOLE TIME BUT I WEAR AN A38
ITS NOT BAD TO ME ..ID RATHER HAVE THE SIZE I HAVE and IT B MUSCLE THEN THE GURLS WITH BIG ONES and ITS FAT WITH STRETCH MARKS...U know what I MEAN..
WELL I HOPE I HELPED you OUT
and DONT WORRY ABOUT DIETING UNLESS your DOC RECOMMENDS
because NOW I HAVE TRUBLE GAININ WEIGHT BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT I WAS VERY INTO STAYIN IN SHAPE THAT I WORKED OUT a lot TO KEEP MUSCLE and I BOOSTED MY MATABALISM UP a lot SO

I am a big girl and I am accepted! I am 5'3 and weigh 240 lbs! I am happy. I go out and have a great time. I lead a very normal life. If people dont like me for me then they arent the type of people I want to be friends with! I live my life to be my self not to mold my self into something everyone wants me to be, look like, dress like, and be molded into something I am uncomfortable with!

well theres quite a lot of pressure on girls to be thin, when I was younger everyone would tease me for being a larger girl but when I lost weight no one noticed so I figured out that people look for someone to pick on and it can be about size, race... ANYTHING. So people try to change themselves to fit in.
