hmmm.. it's hard to say about world politics. politics seem to be a very unstable thing, being as you have to worry about everything.
it may be the same, but I am sure there may be more larger countries, so say, maybe canada, mexico, and the U.S become all one thing, there will be a larger amount of laws to take into effect. There may be more sophisticated ways of voting. instead of everyone leaving to go voting, maybe everyone will receive and electronic disposable tablet that they vote with, that automatically casts your vote. how ever many legal voting people that live at that residence will receive 1 each. it may also be possible that the U.S might take over other countries, making the voting a larger ballet to be cast.
it's hard to tell about the community.. with rising gas prices all around the U.S, and maybe the rest of the world, the average american will probably be riding their bike instead of driving a car, and there will probably be more homeless, and more poor people then there is already.
Buildings.
Barrack Obama says that he will have every car in the U.S getting 50 miles per gallon. This may affect the gas companies a lot. If that indead, does happen, there may be bigger gas stations with more service pumps to serve more people at a time. with the rise of gas, the price of everything else goes up, so maybe the grocery stores will be smaller, but there may also be more of them, to store certain amounts of food, all over town, instead of one big grocery store. this has it's own cause and effect because there will be more driving to do for the companies, but less driving for the consumer, giving each store a fair profeitable amount of money.
John McCain says that he wants to try to use more nuclear power, and drill in more places in the ocean.
with more nuclear power plants, the air may not be as healthy as normal, so there may be filtering plants that filter the cities air. it could also mean, since 1 power plant can run a city for a very long time, there maybe be 1 in each city, which would either make the cities smaller, or there may be cities buying new land to place the power plants. drilling more in the ocean may mean more machinery transportation, which means more vehicle usage through certain towns/cities.
it's hard to say what other presidents would want to do, but what either of the new presidents want to do would affect the future either way.. so it's possible that there may be more green land and farm land if we resort to power plants because it would eliminate all the other power sources, so maybe the grocery stores will have their own freshly grown produce in the city.
fashion
with the need for a constant changing fashion industry, there may be more clothing stores in each city, or maybe one big one with all different brands. there may be more different styles of clothing. maybe we will have flying vehicles that require a certain type of clothing, like aviator. there might be more flashy kinds of clothing, more classes of clothing.
hope this helped! =]

Future.
Hi.
I have some homework about what the world will be like in 30 years. I have to have a pararagh on each of these:
-school life
-technology
-world politics
-community
-buildings
-fashion
I have started already. this is what I have done so far:
What...
I Think Will Happen In The Future
In 30 years time, the world will be a very different place. In my opinion it will not necessarily be a better place but, for sure, a different place.
School life.
Nursery age children will be taken to their front doors and then placed into a hollow, metal box. From there, the boxes will lift of the ground and join the thousands of identical cubes that will already be flying towards the pre-schools. Primary and secondary school students will not have to walk to school and follow timetables. All they will be expected to do is log in to their school website at the correct time in the morning and pick what subject they want to do out of the options for the day. If they have any problems or are not clear on what they have to be doing, then they can simply press the help button. Then a box comes up with all the teachers that are available to help, the pupil will select the teacher that they want to help them and they will talk about the work over, what we now call, instant email. At the end of each hour the student will be sent an instant message, saying “End of Lesson”. If they have not completed enough work then minutes or even hours will be added to the end of the day to complete the work that they didn’t finish before. There will be a five minute break between each lesson so you can have a quick snack or drink. Then you will have to log in again and you will be able to select what lesson you want to study next. And so on, you will get an hour’s lunch in which you can talk to friends who attend the same school. If a student does not sign in into the school website at the times expected then their parents will get an email informing them that their child did not attend school.
Technology.
Everything from televisions to kettles and from hair straighteners to computers will be wireless, meaning you will not have to plug them into the mains supply. Films won’t be stored on discs anymore they will be stored on little micro chips instead, this is not always a good thing if you have short term memory loss. The super-sleek and thin laptops will be affordable for everyone and Plasma screens will be built in to the wall.
The internet will be accessible from anyware in the world, all computers/ laptops will have connection to the internet via satellite.
tell me if you got any ideas please. thank you .xxx
