well my neighbors dog eats it all the time so I dont think so. and my neighbor lets her dog eat anything including chocolate and anything so I think anything is fine for dogs but I wouldnt know because I've never had a dog...
dude, chicken bones are bad, so is chocolate, potatoes, grass, and a lot of other things. only strong leg bones are safe. and the reason you cant give chicken bones to your dog, is they shatter, and could puncture your dogs stomach or throat.
they can choke on the small bits that break off.
uhm like everyone else has already said... chicken bones tend to shatter, and it could choke on the small bits...
Chicken bones are fine as long as they aren't cooked, my vet recommended feeding chicken wings to my dogs when they were pups...they are both very healthy dogs.
Chicken bones...cooked...BAD FOR DOGs...Chocolate...Poisonous to dogs...
Raw chicken bones are a part of the BARF diet, and are fed...but they are usually ground up.

no, its not advised that you give your dog chicken bones.they dont help the dog in any way, and yes they can choke easily on tem. not all the chicken bones break up (only the small ones) the bigger ones can be easily choked on. if you do feed them to your dog be sure to remove all the big ones from the chicken first
I wouldnt recommend feeding your dog bones. They splinter. Dogs can choke on them if theyre not used to them. I have a comment for the person that says that dogs that eat grass is bad. It's not bad, it just means they need fiber in their diet. Grass will not kill them nor make them sick. but chocolate can.
YES!!! It is advised that you give your dog UNCOOKED chicken bones, unless chickens have some how tripled in size since I last looked, there are no BIG bones in chickens. This advice is straight from a vet, so I think they have an idea of what can & can't be done.
That's 3 ADVISORS with either wrong advice or conflicting advice...
Chicken bones can splinter and tear your dog up. For the ones that said uncooked chicken bones...NOOO!!! Raw meat of anykind is not recommended for a dog. Once they get the taste they begin to crave it. The next thing you know fido is being agressive to other animals then the family. Your vet is a quack if they suggested that.
Try giving your dog some carrots. Most love them and they are good for their teeth. If you must give them a bone to chew on try a calve bone with a knuckle. Pig's ears are good for smaller dogs.
Sorry...but feeding raw meat doesn't make a dog aggressive...PEOPLE MAKE DOGS AGGRESSIVE. Hope this isn't a rumor that gets going...sheeesh!
Feeding raw, ground meat has saved many doggies with EPI...and is recommended...
I feed my dog a mixture of kibble and raw ground chicken, beef, venison, or rabbit...no aggression here...but I'm afraid he gave up raw carrots at 3 months...

I had a quick google at this and was amazed to see all the conflicting stories. Ultimately it looks like there are many people giving their dogs raw chicken and raw chicken bones, as justabloke says, so I'd certainly go along with that... cooked chicken bones are dangerous but raw chicken bones aren't. Thanks for setting us advisors straight, justa.
well when I did my dog got sick so I dont think you should
NO! They can kill dogs. They can choke on them and scratch up the inside of their body.
Cooked chicken bones will splinter and can seriously hurt your dog. Uncooked bones may not, but why take a chance? My two Chihuahuas are very fussy about their treats and will not eat any boughten treat except chicken jerky. They do like the little baby carrots. I bought a food hydrator and a jerky shooter at Walmart and now I make my own jerky which is way cheaper than what you buy in the store. I use low fat ground beef and ground turkey. They love both of them and if I get a chance I will eat a bunch of the beef jerky myself.
NEVER give any kind of dog chicken bones.
they tend to split in half and they get caught in their throat.
not a good idea anyway!!!
