To actually show your abs muscles is actually a hard thing to do and very rigid nutritional guidelines have to be followed.
One important thing to do is not to stop eating or limit the amount of food that you are eating. Your body has a defense mechanism that detect if not enough food is available. What it does is it will slow your metabolism so you won't starve and die. We inherited this from the cavemen when they went days without eating.
A slow metabolism means you will not burn as many calories and you need to burn calories if you want to lower your body fat. We raise our metabolism by tricking our bodies into thinking there is plenty of food available. Then our metabolism will raise and you will burn more calories just by being alive.
A good trick is to eat six nutritional meals a day divided into this way:
Morning: Breakfast
Midmorning: Snack
Noon:lunch
Midafternoon:Snack
Evening:Dinner/Supper
Bedtime:Snack
To this you need to add a sensible fitness schedule of 80%Weight lifting and 20% aerobics. Weightlifting is more important because the more muscles that you develop the faster your metabolism and the more calories that you will burn by being alive, even sleeping you will burn more calories!!
Get yourself a fat monitor device that will tell you your percentage of body fat. Not until you get to like 12%-8% will your abs show. Again is very rigid to keep bodyfat at abs showing levels. Raise your protein intake by drinking protein shake smoothies.
Good Whey Protein available at Wal-Mart for $12 bucks.
Also do not worry that you are going to get all muscular and manly looking if you lift weight. You will not, your female hormones will not allow it.

yea I had the same prob a few years ago!!!
I gotta watch what you eat as in fat foods and sugers
go on walks everyday and night...
do sit ups every day and night
but if its on the bottom part thats going to take time because thats the hardest part on your body to lose fat is your lower belly! so keep on it and you will lose it over time just dont eat to much fat foods or sugers or anything like that and work out everyday!
and for everone else stop talkin sh*t if you dont give advice to what the person is asking then dont even bother talkin because your just a waste!!!

Maybe do something more than crunches like figure out a way to workout your lower stomach muscles, when you walk try tightening up your stomach, and just do this whenever you remember too.
and stretch more maybe-?

Flat round stomach
Well see im pretty skinny toned
over all im happy with my body
, but then theres one thing
My stomach its real slender on the sides.
Well my stomach has that little circle shape you get when you have abs
But then it just all fat
See how the chick...
in the pictures stomach goes flat on the sides then has that round thingy in the middle
Well I have that, but mines not flat.
Do you think its just baby fat or what?
