firstly the best thing to do is tell your mum, tell her how you feel even if youre scared. then call your dad and tell him, also tell him how you feel and that youre upset and that you miss him. of course theyll understand! : D.x
I know how you feel exactly . my parents had a divorce over a decade ago - mind you I'm only 17 - and he would always come to our city from a completely different country, but I would always find out he was here days after he leaves.
I used to get conversations like '' Hey, did your dad do anything special for you yet..?'' and I'd be like ''huh.?!?!.. He's here..?''
''No, no sweety. He left the city (-) days ago!''
It used to frustrate me, until I started being straight with him and disowning him as a father for just being one by blood.
I don't get to see him much, but when he does, he usually drops by to say hi.

so when I was younger my parents got divorced, and my dad lives about 300 miles away. its really tough not being able to see him. the last time I saw him was about 5 years ago. and every time he says he is going to make plans for me to go up and see him,...
he always cancels it. he told me That at the End of this summer he would take me camping with the family, but I'm so scared that its gonna be just like every other time where he just cancels it. its really tough not living with my father, even though I don't remember when I did, cause I was to young.
