Everyone says im skinny?

Ok so im 14 5 foot 2 and I weigh 109lbs. Is that normal?? Everyone says that I am way to skinny but I really want to lose some more weight. I need some tips on how to drop a few!

You’re fourteen, you’re still a child. It’s perfectly normal, especially as puberty hasn’t set in completely. Plus you’re 5”2, you’re not fat. You’re probably just right. Why would you want to lose weight ?

I think your normal I’m the same age and height as you, and you only weigh a couple of pounds less than me. so your fine. I think you are at a normal weight for your age, but I suggest you shouldn’t loose any weight.

Ok I looked up some stuff for you. You have a bmi ( body mass index) of 19.9

That means that you are closer to being underweight than overweight. Normal bmi is between 18.5 - 24.5

Your BMI is 19.9 (basically 20) lucky you! Your BMI is what studies have shown males consider the most attractive body mass index. If you lose more weight you will lose all that makes you womanly and attractive and will probably put your body at risk or irreversable problems such as bone thinning, heart problems, hair loss etc. The minimum weight for your height is 101 pounds, it is dangerosu to go below that.

  No your not skinny. However, you might want to develop an exercise program to tone your body’s muscles which might increase your weight by a couple of pounds but would make you look and feel better.

wow. I’m 5’1, Im 21, and I weigh 110and if your too skinny then I must be huge! You are fine, really, and you are still very young you will most likely get taller. If you are worried about weight, I suggest working out a bit- not too much though- maybe like 3 times a week, a little running should be enough…but aside from that if you are healthy, eat well, and keep your heart going you body is doing well. Remember also that your body is developing a lot now and stopping this and loosing a lot of weight can create some unpleasant changes. your body treats you well- do the same for it.
