Escaping hamster

I just re-captured my hamster after he escaped from his cage. Now he tries to escape every night. He tries to take of the lid off his cage. How do I stop him?

Put something heavy over the cage lid!
He must want to run around!
So let it out in a room and close the door so it can have some exercise!

Well you should true to put duk tape on the lip.
And you have to llet him run around every once in a while
thats why he tries to escape b/c he dosnt have enough room.
Try to buy a bigger hamster cage.

the other have some good points, but maybe he isn't happy? did he used 2 live w. another hamster? maybe he needs a friend...

hi im birdlover in a new user I give pet edvice you shoud put food all around his cage he and if he gets out he will stay in one spot and if that dosnt work put a blanket over the cage so he will b confused and just go to sleep
