Has anyone taken the English GCSEs?

ok can someone give me details about these two for gcse? want to know which ones u personally prefer and why and what sort of specifications and talents are needed. im planning to do one english but I dont know which! also DONT say ask your teacher because im moving colleges and therfore have no one to ask at this present time. muchh appreciated.

Hi,

I’d take whichever one you are stronger at or more interested in.

We don’t have GCSEs in America, but we have AP English classes and exams by the same names. The English Literature was all books/literature and then you had to analyze it and argue for certain positions. The English Language was grammar and such.

I’ve already done gcse english literature and I found it very hard, but at the monemt I am studying for my gcse english media and language which I am finding very easy and more enjoyable than the literature!! You should do whatever you enjoy the most and obviosly find easier!!

I actually meant a levels as at my school we have to take both for gcse xxx
