Ender's game!! please help!!

Asked by xxneon_unicornxx 3 months ago, 1 answer.

okay, I've been working on this project for the past 4 days, and I have almost nothing.
I have to have 6 quotes.
with those quotes I ahve to have their Lirerary Element, and how they tie into the story.
Here are the quotes I have so far.

--- sometimes...

lies weremore dependable that the truth.
(^^could this be a metaphor?^^)
---Perhaps it's impossible to wear an identity without becoming what you pretend to be.
---That's the problem with winning from the start, thought Ender. You loose friends.
---real respect takes longer than official respect.
---She had read about Adolf Hitler. She was wondering what he was like at the age of 12. Not this smart, not like Peter that way, but craving honor, probably that. (would this be an allusion?)

I just need some help finding quotes and their Literary Element.
If I have those, then I can tie them to the story.

---
The Example we have--- what he is looking for
In the dark she looked like a boulder shaped by five hundred years of storms. (Secret life of bees.)

Cm: This is a simile, because I tells you how much Lily depends on Rosaleen. It give Rosaleen a solid appearance; we know she will always be there for Lily.

WE CAN NOT USE ALLITERATIONS!!!

Sometimes lies wermore dependable than the truth- Not a metaphor. A metaphor is a phrase where something is applied to another that can not literally be compared. For example- a mighty fortress is our god.
this is allegory.

the second one is allegory.

scratch the third.

fourth- allegory.

fifth- what the hell?!? that is just a quote. scratch it.

Im not going to do your work for you, but try using an Euphemism, its a sentence that has been toned down. For example: passed away instead of died.
