End of the world on wed.

Asked by cupcakes999 2 months ago, 6 answers.

I posted another Q about this, but I really don't understand what's going on.

I mean, if theyre doing something JUST to 'time travel', what the hell is the point if they're endangering the lives of billions of people?

It's complete madness in my opinion, and tbh, people DO want to live. I'm only fifteen, I have my whole life ahead of me.

Can someone tell me what the chances are of anything awful happening or what? It's so ridiculous. Or what theyre even trying to do and how?

In my opinion, this is completely stupendous. It's not completely necessary we know, so why should they be allowed to endanger everyones lives to find out? It's shocking. I mean, can't it be stopped?

The chances are slim to none that we are in any real danger

The governments would not allow something to happen on such a disastrous scale if it can be avoided

No need to panic: 1) only God knows when things will take place 2) God is in control - He forgets NOT, His own.

The end of the world is when the Sun turns into a Red Giant, or fate decides to lob an asteroid at us. That's not very soon. Though, the end of the human reign is whenever we feel like ending it, really.

Though it's intriguing.

Amblessed is right...God is the only one who knows when it's time for the earth to end. He'd only end us for the right reasons, and he wouldn't let us die in agony. We'd die quickly and painlessly, and we'd be sent right back to Heaven.

The government wouldn't allow something as stupid as that...although I don't agree about time travel, they just wouldn't allow it. I don't think Humans need to know when we're going to die! It should just remain a mystery, or it could ruin everybody's lives. No one wants to know when we're going to die, and it should stay that way.

Or maybe God wants to purge the earth in a symbol of horrendous righteous fury!

Nothing is definite, not even religion or science or philosophy. If God can be interchanged with Fate, then you've got me.

Guys:
1) this isn't a religious question
2) selling your religion in response to a scientific question is *unacceptable*
