What are good emo/grunge/screamo bands?

Anyone know of any good emo, grunge, screamo type bands...Like bands with talent, not just bands everyone already knows?

I've been listening to "emo" since about 1995, when it really just was developing. You should check out some older bands, like Cursive, Mineral, Commander Venus, and Limbeck.

If you need more, let me know...

I would suggest rise against, they are pretty good.

funeral for a friend, armor for sleep, the academy is...,
breaking benjamin, the used, thornly, smile empty soul,
shinedown, and mayday parade. just to name a few.

My Chemical Romance, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Circle Takes The Square, Hawthorne Heights, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed and Cambria, Funeral for a Friend, Greeley Estates, Paramore, Rise Against, System of a Down, Three Days Grace, Underoath, and The Used. And Remember Don't (*wink*) Use Limewire.

My favourites are...Avenged Sevenfold, The Used, Silverstein (I recommend their first CD), Atreyu, Nirvana, Papa Roach, System of a Down, and Norma Jean.

Bands with talent?

You won't find many American bands with talent.

Japanese and UK bands have the most talent in the music industry.

Japanese bands are really good mix of emo/punk/goth all in one. I'll give you a list of J_bands I like and you can look up later if you want to.

1 - Gackt
2 - Miyavi
3 - Moi Dix Mois (More what your looking for I suppose)
4 - Malice Mizer
5 - Hyde (Not so much)
6 - Ayabie (Emo? Maybe.)

Those are the ones I would recommend you try to listen to when you can, they are all really talented artist, ESP. Miyavi, he sings, plays guitar, drums, and bass. Japanese are like talent freaks.

A UK band that I would throw in for screamo would be Children of Bodom - I dunno how popular they are but they are good, and also Job for a Cowboy - They are very good, I love that band.
