Eating with mouth open!?!

I find this insanely gross, I just can't stand it. Someone I know very well, and I love them dearly. But they eat and talk with their mouth open. Somtimes I get so repulsed I can't even finish the meal, I will do anything to avoid looking at the nasty...

mush in their mouthes. Oh my goodness just thinking about it makes me want to vomit. I have tried putting a napkin infront of my mouth and emphasiziing the napkin, to try to get them to change. I have even brought up the topic of eating with your mouth open and saying how gross I found it. Nothing seems to work. How can I get them to change with out hurting our relationship?like what would be the best way to adress this issue

I know the feeling it incapacitates(weaken, sicken to a weakened point) me every time someone does it. I would just step up politely, do not e aggressive be assertive. aggressive means violence and assertiveness means sticking up for yourself. so I don't want you to jump up and punch them. okay so just tell them how you feel.

I have the exact same problem!!! I am the only one in my household that chews with my mouth closed!!! just sit them down and tell them how that makes you sick and to try to chew with their mouth closed. it works with me so I think it might work with you.

My roommate is doin that right now with popcorn , I AM ABOUT TO GET UP AND STAB HIM ON THE THROAT!!
