why do people close one of their eyes when their drunk? not keeping it closed, just on and off?

lol, I think its because the are trying to see clearly.. for some reason with both eyes open you see two of everything.. I guess they think with one eye shut it would help.. haha funny question.

some people get so drunk they can barely even open their eyes... probably easier to keep one closed XD

sometimes when you get quite drunk everything begins to spin, having one eye shut kind of lessens this effect- to a degree.
