Domestic rats

If anyone here is an expert on domestic rats please funmail me because I have a few questions!! My rats all get sick or have tumors and I'd like to know if ALL rats get sick that way or if there's anything I can do to keep them healthy. (I have 2 at the moment)

Rats do have a lot of health problems but getting them from a breader instead of a pet shop might be better. They should have a healthier rat for you there.
