it has NOTHING to do with cutting (self harm)
depression (a mental disorder)
suicide, eating disorders, ect
because feelings and emotions play NO part in any label or stereotype
which is what majority of the kids who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still don’t understand

Painting your nails black has nothing to do with any stereotype. People who think that are f*cking idiots. I paint mine black all the time. It's the only color I use because I love the color black. If you like your nails painted black, keep painting them black.
