If you use really low quality porcelein for the tea, people will notice. Other than that, it's basically the same irregardless of what type of serveware you use for the tea. Some people like to make an event out of things.
no/add mint or different cup where wont change a thing but flavor.

I'm not much around the house, and when I make tea, it's in a mug, not a chinese tea pot of porcelein. Does serving tea in better serveware make it taste better, or is it used just to make an experience or event out of the drinking of the tea?
