Does eating at night time make your belly get bigger? I don't each much, but I do eat often after night time, between 9-12 pm, and am wondering if this might be the reason my gut seems to be expanding...any ideas, or is this some kind of urban myth?

yes. you do not do anything to work it off wile you sleep. if you feel you need food befor bed you should have it 2 hour befor you go

I don't know, I heard that it doesn't matter when you eat, either way, you're still eating, and it makes sense. The only way you'd gain weight from eating at night is if you're eating extra what you normally would, you know, surpassing your healthy calorie consumption. If you're eating a healthy calorie consumption, just some of it at night, than don't worry.

I think it depends on what your eating before bed. Anything salty will leave you retention and tight feeling fingers when you get up. Pizza will cause bloating in the stomack because of all the carbs/cheese/sauce/ and anything else you put on that could cause a distented stomach at night. If's just a matter of being hunger try drinking some water with a few lemon sliced it helps curb you appetite.

keely is right. They advise people not to eat right before going to bed as your body cannot burn off the calories during sleep. What your vbody cannot burn it will store into fat cells for when it may need it later. Usually they recommend no food 2-3 hours before lights out.

ok. if you want to eat, eat dont hold it because it might be the last. I always eat when i am hungry ok. I eat like if it was my last meal and about calories dont worrie about that, it will go away just workout 4hrs a day in the gym like if it was no tomorrow thats what i do.
