Do diet drinks make you hungry ?

Im just wondering because I read it on a news paper , I drink diet drinks every day and I feel hungry a lot but I dont know if it is the diet drinks

Actually I just read something on this the other day.
Aspartame is normally the prime ingredient in diet ANYTHING, and Aspartame will cause you to become more hungry than normal sugar.
